Entrevista del testigo

Fyodor P.: "The Jews did not know that they were going to be taken to a pit to be killed. They told them that they were going to move them somewhere else. When I saw them passing by in a column, they carried their belongings with them." (Witness N°946, interviewed in June 2010)

Nota histórica

Former Jewish agricultural colony. The village is situated between the cities of Krivoy Rog and Dnipropetrovsk. Putylivka was a member of the former Jewish district of Satlindorf created in the 1920’s, consisting of dozens of Jewish agricultural colonies, the first ones established at the beginning of the 19th century. The village was occupied from 1941 to 1943.
