Witnesses interviewed: 3. (N°5, 6, 7). Nikolay Mikhailovitch S. (N°5): "With the arrival of the Germans, the Jews of the village were forced to relocate into two houses that were surrounded by barbed wire. I could see my friend through the windows."

RG-22.002M/7021-92/210. "At the end of the month of October, 1941, all the Jews of Vetrino were brought together in three houses on Chkalov street. There were a total of 40 of them. All the houses were surrounded by barbed wire and guarded by the police. The inhabitants of Vetrino were not allowed to go there, or they would have been shot."
