Holocausto por balas en cifras

German forces conducted the first large-scale Aktion in Sinyavka against the Jews in the autumn of 1941. They collected about 500 Jews in the synagogue, before selecting 134 (mostly elderly) of them, escorting them to a ditch in a field close to the village, and shooting them. The remaining Jews in Sinyavka were then moved into a ghetto. In the summer of 1942, the ghetto was liquidated and the Jews were killed outside the village in the direction of Pinsk, near a forest close to the village of Nareshevichi. They were shot together with some 130 Jews who had been transferred from Zaostrovichi. The Jews were buried in a mass grave beside the road. That day, circa. 600 people were murdered.
