“There were perhaps 10 shooters, maybe more. We could hear some gun fire and we saw people falling. We heard single shots, with guns. The ones who shot were German policemen. The Ukrainian policemen were here to prevent the people from approaching. The perpetrators paused 20 minutes between the shootings. Yes, there were some Jews who had to throw the corpses in the grave. When they finished this task, they were also shot”.

“The execution was perpetrated 2km from Yastrebinovo. I could hear women and children who cried and screamed. The corpses were dumped in four wells that were dug in 1912-1913. They were thrown in these wells and sprayed with gasoline and burned. The young children were thrown in alive and were burned.”
