Helped by the starost of the village, they gathered the entire Jewish population of the village of Sitnya, then brought them at gunpoint towards the edge of a forest near the village of Sitnya, where they were shot. About 18 Soviet citizens completely innocent, elderly and children, died. The German executioners shot them in the back, in the nape of the neck, using explosive bullets. Bodies fell in the pit in a mess. People were shot one by one.
