Maria I (N°582 B) : “The Jews were shot here. There were a lot of Jews. Some of them lived in our house and my mother wanted to hide a young girl who lived here with her mother. All the Jews were gathered in the school, the little girl had to go too. One time, she came back to pick up some bread because they didn’t received anything to eat in the school. She was perhaps eight like me.”
