Olena Mikhailivna G. explains: "Jews were brought towards the pit. And in front of the pit, there was a place where the Jews were gathered. It was a big place. There were wagons for those who could not walk and the others were on foot. The column was very long. At this place, there was also a rabbi who gave a speech. He read something for a very long time. And later, we heard shouting. Everybody shouted, it was horrible. We were close under trees. There were no men, there were only women who watched it all. And after, they started shooting the Jews."
